Resuming an Application or Creating a New One

Prev Next

Perhaps you’ve started an application, but have not yet completed and submitted it. Or perhaps you submitted one application, but found a program that starts in a different application cycle. You can resume or update an existing application, or start another one.

On the Your Applications page, in the In Progress section, there is an application for the August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2027 cycle in progress. The application is paid for. In the Start Another section, an application for the August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026 year is available to apply for. In the navigation on the left, Apply is outlined in red.

If you started an application for a particular application cycle, but did not complete and submit it, or if you completed and submitted an application, but want to add a new program choice, complete the following steps.

Note: If you’re adding a new program choice to a Paid application, another payment is not required. Your choice will be sent to the college by the next business day.

  • Log into your Ontario Colleges application.

  • In the navigation pane on the left, select Apply.

  • On the Your Applications page, under In Progress, select Continue Application.

  • Select the Choose Program tab.

  • Select Change / Add Program Choices.

  • Complete the steps to search for and add program choices.

If you have an existing application, but want to start a new one for a different application cycle:

  • Log into your Ontario Colleges application.

  • In the navigation pane on the left, select Apply.

  • On the Your Applications page, under Start Another, review the application cycle details; then select Apply Now.

  • Complete the steps for creating an application.
