Getting access to your account

If required, you can request access to your account.

  • Contact the international education department at the institution. For contact information, go to the Contact the Colleges page on ontariocolleges.ca.

  • When you have been granted access, you will receive an email from the institution with instructions for:

    • Creating an account for the first time

    • Linking your application to an existing account

The institution will provide you with access using your email address. You cannot change this email address and neither can OCAS. If you want to access your account using a different email address, you must contact the institution’s international department.

Creating an account

IMPORTANT: If you are creating an account for the first time, you must choose Sign up with email. Once you have done this, you can create a password to use when logging into your account. Do NOT choose Sign up with Google, as this option is not currently supported for international applicant accounts.

If you already tried to create an account using your Google email address, you might not have a password yet. To log into your international account, you must first complete the registration of your Google account:

  • Go to the login page for Canadian applicants.

  • Select Log In.

  • In the Sign In dialogue box, select Continue with Google.

  • Complete the account registration process and answer the security questions.

  • Assign a password to your account by:

    • Contacting OCAS for help, OR

    • Logging into your account as a Canadian applicant. In the banner, where it says “Welcome [Name], select My Account; then add a password.

Linking your application to an existing account

After you set a password on your account, you can link it with your international application by following the steps in the email that you received from the institution.

Important: Make sure you select Link application to existing account. The link is valid for 30 days. If the link has expired, an error message is displayed. To request another link, contact our Customer Contact Centre.

Here is an example of the email from the institution, which includes the application ID, applicant’s name, and instructions for creating a new account or linking to an existing application.

In the example welcome email from the institution, the Already Created an Account section is outlined in red.

Logging Into Your Account

Now that your account is set up and linked to your application, any time you want to log in, go to one of the following sites:
