Overnight from 6:15 p.m. to 6:45 a.m. Monday - Friday
24 hours on weekends and holidays

What To Do If…
An Audible Alarm Sounds
If during a typical work day, EXIT the building immediately
If after hours, confirm false alarm
Code Holders:
On the keypad, enter your 4-digit code. This will silence the alarm.
Call the “Facilities” number to confirm false alarm or state of emergency
Non-Code Holders:
Call the “Facilities” number for assistance in silencing and resetting the alarm
The “Facilities” phone number is conveniently located above the alarm panel
Where’s the Alarm Panel?
The alarm panel is located to the left of the reception inner (secure) door.

Instructions and the Facilities phone number are located above the alarm panel.
In an Emergency
Push and hold the two buttons to activate the alarm:
FIRE - Top buttons (fire icon)
AMBULANCE - Centre buttons (Cross icon)
POLICE - Bottom buttons (Badge icon)

Fire Procedure
If an Audible Alarm Sounds
GET OUT! Assume an emergency situation
Immediately evacuate the building using the nearest exit
Do NOT stop to gather your belongings, coats, etc.
Do NOT shut down your computer
Close all doors behind you
Make sure guests and contractors are evacuated
Outside the Building
Meet at the pergola
Managers / Team Leads (with help of staff) confirm that all staff are out of the building
Do NOT re-enter the building until the situation is declared safe by a Fire Official
If You are Trapped Inside
Move to the most protected area (PLH @ 8oct2025 - example?)
Close the door. Make sure that it is NOT locked
Dial 911 and inform the fire department of your location within the building
Seal all cracks where smoke can enter the space
Stay low to the floor if smoke enters the room
Wait to be rescued
